Man, this gotta symbolize a Golden Age of creativity or something. We dancing to something wildly imaginative, we laughing at something wildly imaginative. This a bit of both for me. Special thank you to Houdinne and Keke Majora.
Enjoy. Houdinne Mediafire Download Keke Majora Houdinne

Buses run on limited schedules during weekends. It was drizzling a bit when I came out and the next bus was 15 minutes away. No worries. I could get a lil wet and be okay but let me walk pass this stop right here and camp at the next one, maybe it'll have a shelter. MAYBE. I'm on my way to the next stop, only to realize it was 17 minutes of a walk away.. okay, nope, not gonna do that. Cool, let me turn around and speed walk back to my original stop. Rather get a lil wet than miss this bus and have to wait another hour in this desolated area for another.. (Due to my lack of foresight to look ahead of time for the next closest stop, I now have to speed walk back to the original stop in hopes of arriving in the nick of time) So, as i'm speed walking, of course the bus is passing the stop i'm supposed to be at, and based on personal experience, there's a high chance that me not being at that stop is gonna get me left, no matter how close to the stop I may be and no matter how much I plead my case by flailing my arms for the driver to stop.
What do you do? I stand in the way of the oncoming bus, of course. Right in the middle of the bus's lane. Cool. Bus driver doesn't seem to be slowing down but why back down now? (don't answer that) He smashes the horn as he's within a few feet of me and I hold my ground until he stops. He's motioning on some "Bro, WTF" from inside and opens the door (guy could've easily drove off once I moved but anywho) then continues berating me on the possibility of the brakes failing and 1000 other ways I could've died, and how he'd be protected from liability. The guy has pretty valid points, too. I'm not mad. I say "I did what I had to do." I don't live around here and I aint trynna wait for that other bus, mane. I've been left plenty of times and watched from inside the bus, people being left for not being right at the stop. We go back and forth (my stance isn't an argumentative one, just me doing what I gotta do) and I think he even grinned at one point during my explanation but I just apologized and took a seat. Thanked him for the ride on my way off and told him not to run anyone over. He was a good sport. Long story short: when I transferred buses, I didn't pay the fare and have no intentions of doing so. Free ride. Loyalty been putting in work since before I knew who he was. He was one of the ones in school passing out, as well as selling his music while producing his own material (shoutout DCB). I was fortunate enough to collaborate with him on a few tracks and I am grateful for his example. Not to mention this dude is FUN-E. Still inspiring to this day. These joints will always be some of my favorite pieces of music. Yes, Shoutout Shantae', my goodness. They complimented each other so perfectly. He snapped on this one #1stFriday #ShutUpAndSupport http://smarturl.it/9rufo3 I rose on this day, feeling great in the simplest ways, intentions set on making the most of the day. It's Mom's birth-month today. She doesn't answer the phone, of course. She's at the job and her voicemail-box has been full since my junior year of high-school. Dropped my kids off at the pool for a bit, boiled a sponge to wash some dishes and enjoyed a couple tiny desk concerts.. "Water bill is due today, cool." Set the alarm for the next bus that way. Threw myself on and found reasons to pick myself off the couch until it was time to go. It's time to go. I go. Small interaction with the friendliest bus driver thus far. On my way to the utility place. At one of the stops, there's an elder who appears to want to catch the bus, only her feet and walker aren't moving as quickly as bus drivers usually want them to be (from observation). I hold up the bus, stick my head out the door and ask if she's catching the bus. She says no. Cool. On my way again. Bus driver doesn't mind, he's cool. Get to the place. "Good day, ma'am, I'd like to pay the bill for such n such.." Representative doesn't respond. She's attentively listening to her coworker sort a couple's business next to us. She asks me to speak up so I repeat myself. She says there's no available balance. I repeat the address for the 3rd time just to be sure. She was listening quite attentively. Luh nosey ass. Still no available balance. "Let me see your screen, please." She turns the screen and it shows my address with no available balance. I immediately proceed to leave then turn around JUST to be sure. Fam, I ain't trynna deal with no extra charges down the line that'll have me scratching my head like "this dont make sense.. how my bill double??" Long story shorter, some one or some thing payed my water bill some how... no complaints tho.. Wish I knew who it was so I could personalize my thanks.
Either way, Thanks alot. **Update** Checked my account personally and there really is no available balance. Payment was posted a week ago so that's that. :)
was listening to green hill zone from sonic and thought about the sample for wiz's song then immediately thought about say yeah and the freestyle I did to it and reveled in the nostalgia for a moment. then I ended up enjoying this..
enjoy.
One of my favorites #NewSoundz provoking thought as always. Thankful to have had the opportunity to co-create with an artist as distinct as his. Wellness and Prosperity be with him and the whole #HTG gang. man's Trill.
mistook Blue Man Group's blues for Eiffel 65's blues.. Eiffel's blues inspired me like crazy when it dropped.
enjoy. first off, i'm writing this from starbucks and the more I think of it, the more I cringe at how cliché the idea is (blogging from starbucks)... anywho, I ordered a grande vanilla bean crème (don't care to recommend it). it's another early day of doing what must be done.. I napped on the way here so i'm good on rest for the time being.. might get a couple apple pies from McDowell's before my next bus..
a shoutout and thank you to the team over at HYPE Off Life for featuring the Kamehameha flow.. @swadedavillain + 13th Street Promotions on his contribution. always supporting, always supported.. I was actually considering deleting the whole thing due to my uploading it prematurely but it's cool that someone enjoyed it anyway.. from my blog to yours: thank you!
