Responding to a question, I caught myself running a script earlier (doesn’t matter which one). A family member instantly reframed the narrative for me, relieving a bit of pressure. Though i’m still talking my shit silently, I give thanks for reflections.

Reaching deep in my proverbial bag at this time and revisiting positive thinking models in preparation for the new year, though I wish I'd done so sooner. It does feel good to plant seeds of optimism in the midst of what often feels like warfare on the battlefield of my mind. There are thinking traps we fall into that have been identified and can be overcome with awareness and pro-activity. I've fallen into and dirtied myself worming around all of em' recently, so paying attention to and being proactive in this area of study has payed dividends. Living with the choices I've made and having to confront the often crippling voice of the many spirits that fed on my lesser states of thinking leading up to this moment, I see how the last couple of years have been an opportunity for me to exercise higher faculties of thinking. I haven't always made the best decisions.. I like to think of my mind as a garden though. If the garden of my mind is a battlefield then I rather be a warrior tending to a garden than a gardener on a battlefield.. or something like that
